Often homeopaths come to homeopathy after curing their own illness with homeopathic treatment, I on the other hand came out of a desire for meaning in my life.
Nursing has always meant so much to me but it had changed so radically by the 1990ís I knew that I had to find another way to be a nurse. The book, Discovering Homeopathy Medicine for the 21st Century by Dana Ullman showed me the next step.
Hahnemann College of Homeopathy taught me my basics, seminars filled in much needed information, and Lou Kleinís Homeopathic Master Clinician course took me further. Along the way I joined the Homeopathic Nurses Association, became their Vice President then President. Now after having had a practice in California, I enrolled in a Washington entrepreneurerís course to complete what I didnít know about business and reopened my practice. I have completed a portion of the Certification process for my CCH but just have to find the time to complete it entirely.

25 years ago I purchased a homeopathy book at a health food store. For 12 years I learned and used homeopathy for myself and family. During that time I became convinced that homeopathy has something wonderful to offer people with both acute and chronic healthcare issues. Homeopathic remedies are safe, effective, hold no contraindications nor side-effects, especially when used in over-the-counter potencies.
This system of medicine complements my nursing practice, which works to achieve healthcare empowerment and welleness through a collaborative model. Homeopathy requires patience, self-observation, and reporting your experiences as we work together. This approach includes you as a whole person--- physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual as well as your family history and other contributing factors.
